Job summary

Coborn’s is hiring a Produce Clerk I to join the produce department in Illinois. You will stock shelves, build displays, rotate products, and ensure freshness and quality for guests.

You’ll assist with receiving, inspecting for quality and freshness, cleaning, and maintaining sanitation; engage guests with samples and friendly service, and help keep the department inviting and well-stocked. This role supports health and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail or grocery preferred.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks.
• Familiarity with health, safety and sanitation regulations.
• Excellent guest service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and build displays; rotate and pull product of lower quality.
• Receive, inspect for quality and freshness, and stock products.
• Keep the department clean and equipment maintained.
• Engage guests through product samples and suggestive selling.
