Job summary

Meijer in Fairborn, OH is seeking a part‑time Food Clerk to deliver friendly service in our Fresh departments. You will build connections with customers, share product knowledge, and help maintain clean, well‑stocked displays across Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery.

This role requires a customer‑first mindset, strong communication, the ability to learn new technology, and the stamina to stay on your feet in a fast‑paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Build positive connections with customers and teammates

• Stock, rotate, and merchandise product according to standards
• Use technology to complete tasks efficiently and accurately
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and quality procedures
• Work across departments including Meat, Seafood, Bakery, Deli, Produce and Grocery
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly
