Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency is required.
• Preferred 1–2 years grocery retail experience in floral/dept processes.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensures cleanliness of produce department, floral area, storage area, and work area for safety; includes cleaning shelves and floors.
• Stocks produce/floral, rotates and prices products, and maintains tag accuracy.
• Assists customers with purchases, information, and product selection.
• Receives and logs products for quality, temperature, and shipment accuracy.
• Maintains signage, recipe cards, and promotional material on the floor.
• Operates department equipment and follows health department guidelines.
• Supports pre-inventory prep and back stock tasks; ensures proper tagging.
• Participates in the cut fruit/vegetable program and aims for department profitability.
