Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• Preferred 1-2 years grocery retail experience in Floral department.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.
• Must maintain the highest level of customer service.
• Ability to adapt to a high-volume retail while working cross-functionally.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Keeps produce department, floral area, storage, and work areas clean and safe.
• Stocks, rotates, and faces product; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Assists customers with purchases and product selection.
• Receives, inspects, and logs shipments for quality and temperature.
• Manages tags, promotional materials, and recipe cards.
• Operates knives, scales, wrappers, hand trucks, and other equipment.
• Participates in inventory prep and the cut fruit/vegetable program.
• Supports department profitability and knowledge of products.
