Job summary

El Rancho Supermercado is seeking a Produce Clerk to support inventory, display setup, and product quality. The role includes trimming, washing, banding, and wrapping produce, plus unloading trucks and maintaining inventory accuracy.

The ideal candidate has a High School Diploma or GED, experience in produce or supermarkets is a plus, and bilingual English/Spanish skills are welcome to assist a diverse customer base.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in produce departments/supermarkets preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure freshness and quality through rotation of product.
• Inventory merchandise on hand.
• Set-up and maintain all displays.
• Assist manager in maintaining pricing and signage.
• Maintain neat and orderly coolers.
• Use and maintenance of sprinkler wet on produce.
• Cut fruits and vegetables to be sold in packages.
• Maintain cleanliness of scales.
• All other duties assigned within the department.
• Work cross functionally with other departments.
