Job summary

BJ’s Wholesale Club in Danvers, MA is seeking a friendly Produce Clerk to sort, display, replenish and assist Members in the Produce department. You’ll help maintain high quality fruit and vegetables and share product knowledge to enhance the Member experience.

The role requires attention to freshness, proper rotation, safe handling, and cooperation with team members to keep shelves neat, signage accurate, and the department compliant with club standards.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a produce department.
• Knowledge of fresh fruits and vegetables preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to Members in the produce department.
• Inspects, rotates, and stores produce upon delivery.
• Rotates produce on the sales floor to ensure optimal freshness.
• Maintains the produce reserve stock area and daily organization.
• Follows guidelines for disposing of damaged or expired products.
• Keeps signage accurate and helps with inventory as needed.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is required.
