Qualifications

• Attention to detail in handling merchandise and rotations.
• Ability to perform basic math for price checks and quantities.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and teammates.
• Willingness to follow sanitation and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting every customer with a smile and assisting their needs.
• Review merchandise freshness and rotate stock to maintain quality standards.
• Maintain adequate product supply and prepare replenishment lists.
• Check in products, process deliveries, and review invoices as needed.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish products as required.
• Follow sanitation procedures and keep the work area clean and safe.
• Remove trash and assist with department upkeep.
• Assist with ordering products and pricing for customers.
• Answer the phone and provide friendly service to customers.
• Follow Hy-Vee dress code and company guidelines.
• Take on additional tasks or projects as needed.
