Job summary

El Super is seeking a Produce Clerk in Albuquerque to support the Produce Manager. You will deliver excellent customer service, assist shoppers, keep produce displays clean, rotated, and well-stocked, and help maintain a fast-paced grocery environment. Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and shelf tags.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Explain information clearly in one-on-one or small group settings to customers and coworkers.
• Follow written or oral instructions with common sense.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 25 pounds, frequently up to 45 pounds, occasionally up to 60 pounds.

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision of the Produce Manager, the Produce Clerk provides customer service, assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates perishable (produce) displays, and ensures customer satisfaction. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
