Foodland Super Market, Ltd. in Hawai`i is seeking a Produce Clerk for a part-time role in Kailua. Evening and weekend availability is preferred. Pay starts at $17.90 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package. On-island applicants only; relocation is not provided.

The position includes stocking/rotating produce, assisting customers, answering questions, and offering samples while promoting products. Candidates must be 18+, pass a Math Test, and meet safety requirements.

Produce Clerks are responsible for the proper stocking and rotation of merchandise in the produce and floral department, including trimming, watering, and merchandising of products to ensure fresh, high-quality offerings. They are responsible for proper inventory control to maximize product freshness and availability. They answer questions from customers about produce and floral products and help increase sales by handing out food samples and by recommending additional items to customers.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school education preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Must be able to frequently lift 35 pounds and occasionally lift up to 70 pounds.
• Must pass Math Test
• Grocery retail, customer service, and cash handling experience helpful
• Must have TB Clearance
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements
