Job Summary

Provide world famous friendly customer service to customers, team members & outside vendors. Merchandising, filling, stocking, breaking down & storing loads, culling product, rotating product, preparing product, trimming, crisping, etc.

Essential Job Functions

• Store, rotate and break down loads to proper areas—cooler or backroom.
• Transport product to sales floor for filling.
• Cull off quality or out-of-code product and rotate new product onto display.
• Trim and crisp lettuce, celery, and other wet, perishable product.
• Observe policies and procedures established for the department.
• Continuing education on product identification uses and handling.
• Keep work area clean—follow cleaning schedule.
• Follow company dress code.
• Follow safe handling practices for knives and cutters.
• Follow safe lifting practices.
• Follow productivity guidelines as set by the Produce Manager.
• Abide by all company policies as stated in the employee handbook.
