Job summary

North State Grocery in Quincy, CA is seeking individuals to provide world famous friendly customer service and perform produce stocking, merchandising, and safety duties. The role involves rotating product, breaking down loads, and maintaining clean, well‑displayed cases throughout shifts.

You will work as part of a team, follow instructions, and uphold company policies while lifting up to 45 pounds and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide world famous friendly attitude to customers and team members.
• Work as part of a team atmosphere.
• Report to work on time, in proper attire, for full shift.
• Store, rotate and break loads to proper areas; cooler or backroom.
• Transport product to sales floor for filling.
• Cull out quality or out-of-code product and rotate new product to display.
• Trim and crisp lettuce, celery and other produce.
• Follow safety and cleaning procedures as per schedule.
• Learn safety operating procedures and policies.
• Abide by all company policies from employee handbook.

Essential Job Functions:

• World famous friendly attitude with customers & team members.
