Job summary

ZippyApp Talentral Corp. in Olathe, KS seeks a Produce Clerk to deliver outstanding customer service, gain product knowledge, rotate stock, and merchandise fresh vegetables and fruit while maintaining a safe, clean environment that encourages shoppers to return.

You will greet customers, answer questions, assist with selections, ensure product freshness, follow store policies, observe dress regulations, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Prior work experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Observe all store rules and company policies.
• Maintain a neat, well groomed personal appearance at all times and observe company dress regulations.
• Greet all customers and provide them with prompt and courteous service.
• Knows seasonality, use and taste of products offered.
• Observe shift -operating hours at all times as scheduled by department manager.
• Must be able to work in a cold environment.
• Must have excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Display merchandise in an attractive, appealing and neat manner.
• Maintain general housekeeping and sanitation standards in compliance with store policy and state and local health regulations on an ongoing basis.
• Comply with all safety policies and procedures.
• Able to exert or lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and exert or lift negligible amounts of weight often.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
