Job summary

Super One Foods in Marquette, MI is hiring a friendly, energetic Produce Clerk to join the team. You will work hands-on with a diverse range of produce items, learn about origins, and help keep displays fresh and inviting for customers.

Shifts are mostly afternoons and evenings on a part-time schedule. You will lift up to 50 lbs, rotate stock, and assist customers with product recommendations, creating a welcoming shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, walk, and work with produce items throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Trim, rotate and fill produce items to ensure presentation of fresh, attractive displays.
• Assist customers with questions and product recommendations.
• Keep the produce area clean, organized and stocked; follow safety guidelines.

We are seeking to hire a friendly, energetic, and helpful person to work in our produce department. A successful candidate will have a strong desire to learn and work with produce items from virtually all around the world. The need to work hands on with all products is a must. The need to trim, rotate and fill produce items constantly to ensure the presentation of the finest and freshest items to our customers for purchasing. Employees not only learn about each produce item, but they will also be required to share, educate and recommend items to customers with their produce purchases. The product mix is constantly changing with each growing season, as well as holiday items and local favorites.

Job Requirements

• An employee will be required to lift, stand, walk and work with their hands and fingers throughout their entire work shift.
• Lifting items and product up to 10 lbs. regularly and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
