Join our Festival Foods Team as a Produce Clerk!

Must be available at 6 AM or till 9 PM and weekends.

Reports To: Produce Department Manager

Job Description
What You'll Do:

As a Produce Clerk, you will maintain stock levels, deliver exceptional customer service, and uphold our high standards. Your responsibilities include:

  • Engage with Guests: Assist guests in finding items, taking special orders, and addressing concerns with outstanding service.
  • Maintain Stock Levels: Keep items well-stocked and attractively displayed, rotating products for freshness.
  • Ensure Cleanliness & Food Safety: Keep the sales floor and cooler clean and organized, log temperatures, and complete rotation and shrink sheets daily.
  • Maintain Supplies & Produce Cooler: Ensure supplies like bags and ties are stocked, rotate cooler items, and order specific products as needed.
  • Teamwork: Support team efforts and perform additional duties as needed.
  • Honor Commitments: Maintain regular attendance and provide notice for absences.
What We're Looking For:

Ideal candidates will have:

  • Customer Service Skills: Ability to engage and assist guests effectively.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written skills.
  • Teamwork: Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety policies and ability to recognize hazards, using equipment safely.
  • Knowledge: Understanding of retail food operations and perishables.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:

Candidates must be able to perform essential duties, including:

  • Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.
  • Full upper body mobility.
  • Working at a fast pace.
  • Exposure to extreme temperatures.
Work Schedule:
  • This is a part-time role, up to 28 hours per week.
  • Shifts vary, including weekdays, weekends, and holidays.
