Minimum Position Qualifications:
- Ability to handle stressful situations
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction)
- Current food handler's permit upon employment
Desired Previous Job Experience:
- Retail experience
- Second language skills (speaking, reading, or writing)
Responsibilities include:
- Model the 3A's: acknowledge, assist, and appreciate customers
- Promote corporate brands and foster trust among staff
- Create a welcoming environment, answer product questions, and suggest items
- Prepare produce platters/trays and inform customers of specials
- Recommend products to meet customer needs
- Label, stock, and inventory merchandise; inspect for quality and freshness
- Maintain proper temperatures and logs; ensure safety protocols are followed
- Report discrepancies, safety risks, accidents, and illegal activities
- Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment and manage conflicts appropriately
- Act with honesty and integrity, follow directions, and support minors, seniors, or individuals with special needs
