Responsibilities

• Role model the 3A’s of Friendly: acknowledge, assist and appreciate customers.
• Promote Corporate Brands to customers.
• Promote trust and respect among associates.
• Answer product questions and suggest items across the store.
• Maintain knowledge of products and respond to questions.
• Assist with the preparation produce platters/trays.
• Inform customers of produce specials.
• Recommend items to customers to meet needs.
• Adequately prepare, package, label and inventory merchandise.
• Review/inspect products for quality and freshness and take action as needed.
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
• Report ordering/shipping discrepancies to the department manager.
• Display a positive attitude.
• Stay current with ads and seasons.
• Ensure proper temperatures in cases and logs.
• Reinforce safety programs and report hazards.
• Practice preventive maintenance and report repairs.
• Notify management of accidents and safety risks.
• Report all safety risks, theft or fraud to management.
• Work cooperatively in high-paced environments.
• Handle conflicts calmly and professionally.
• Maintain honesty and integrity in customer/business information.
• Follow directions and seek help as needed.
• Provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
