Associated Wholesale Grocers in Hernando, MS seeks a Produce Assistant to perform clerical duties for the Fresh Sales department. You will assist with order processing, POs, price changes, and communications with buyers to support member retailers.
The role supports AWG’s mission by ensuring accurate documentation, timely processing, and reliable customer service across West Coast POs and weekly bookings. Mon-Fri, 7am-4pm; benefits are provided.

Responsible for performing all clerical functions as it relates to the AWG Brands Divisional office. Assist with the coordination of the annual Food Shows and provides ultimate customer service to AWG Member Stores.

Degree or equivalent; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Demonstrated experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access. Knowledge of AWG systems/programs including the following; SCM, ADW, PCOMM, People Soft, DLX, StoreFront, Arc, On Demand, Service Now, Notepad and Concur.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
