Job summary

Black Cape, a leader in federal government tech solutions, seeks a ProdOps Engineer to manage cloud-native, full-stack applications with a focus on security and reliability. The role demands TS/SCI clearance, onsite work in Bethesda, and the ability to support 24/7 operations.

Candidates should have strong experience with Linux, cloud platforms (AWS/OpenShift/Kubernetes), and CI/CD tooling. A CI Poly may be required for some positions, along with US citizenship considerations.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• Willingness to go onsite 5 days/week at customer sites.
• Experience in classified environments and RMF/AO processes.
• Experience with Linux-based deployments in cloud/on-prem
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS/OpenShift/Kubernetes).
• Certifications such as CKAD or AWS are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a mission-critical cloud-based system across environments.
• Monitor services globally, resolve outages, and escalate when needed.
• Deploy latest code and security updates to cloud systems.
• Make configuration changes for clustered deployments and scaling.
• Provide guidance on scaling components of the technology stack.
• Support 24/7 operations across shifts.
