Job summary

Stony Brook University’s Department of Psychology seeks a PRODiG+ Postdoctoral Fellow (12-month, non-tenure-track) at lecturer level to commence Fall 2027. The Fellow will be appointed for two years at an annual salary of $80,000 with comprehensive state benefits, joining a mentored research environment with funding to support research and a modest teaching load of three courses over two years.

Qualifications

• Be eligible to work in the United States for the full duration of the position without visa sponsorship.
• PhD or relevant terminal degree from an accredited institution completed prior to start date.
• Demonstrate experience engaging with diversity, equity, and inclusion in academic or campus settings.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and hire through the PRODiG+ Postdoctoral Fellowship.
• Conduct and support research within the mentored environment.
• Teach up to 3 courses over two years and participate in undergraduate/graduate teaching and mentoring.
