The Otis Service Center Assembly Department is looking for a Electro/Mechanical Assembler for Assembling and wiring of a variety of components.

What you'll do:

  • Position requires assembling parts and sub-assemblies through a variety of electro/mechanical tasks and duties to achieve maximum cell efficiency.
  • The individual in the assignment will perform Mechanical Assembling, Wiring, and Soldering.
  • Duties include the use of a variety of Hand, Battery, and pneumatic tools.
  • The Assembly Department is responsible for the Assembly and Wiring of a variety of components and key products required for maintenance and modernization of Elevators and Escalators.

What you have:

  • Ability to adhere to the Otis’ Absolutes of Safety, Ethics, and Quality required.
  • Ability to work from prints, schematics and process sheets.
  • Must be a team player committed to continuous improvement.
  • Demonstrated skills in mechanical dexterity, assembly manufacturing, material handling, soldering, and wiring.
  • Good interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to participate in annual inventory.
  • All personnel may be required to perform duties outside of their normal responsibilities from time to time, as required.

The salary range for this role is $45,000.00-$50,000.00 . We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may change in the future . Pay within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
