An independent production is seeking a motivated Production Coordinator to join our small, dedicated team for an upcoming documentary feature. This project explores the rarely seen world of extreme sports training, focusing on the mental and physical grit required. It's an intimate, character-driven story with a gritty yet inspiring tone. We're looking for someone to help keep our complex shooting schedule organized and our on-the-ground logistics running smoothly. Key responsibilities include coordinating crew, managing equipment rentals, assisting with location permits in New York, tracking expenses, and generally supporting the production manager and director. You should have at least 2-3 years of experience in production coordination for documentaries or independent features, with strong organizational skills and a proactive attitude. Experience navigating NYC production logistics is a big plus. While we don't expect you to bring your own gear for this role, proficiency with standard production software (scheduling, budgeting) is essential. A brief resume or production list highlighting your relevant experience is preferred over a traditional reel. Shoot dates are primarily scheduled for November 2026, with some prep work starting late October 2026. This will be a part-time commitment during prep, escalating to full-time during the 3-4 week shoot block. This is an equity partnership opportunity, suitable for someone looking to invest their skills in a passion project with potential for significant upside.
