Albertsons Companies in Phoenix is seeking a Purchasing Systems Business Analyst to join our team. You will lead data gathering and analysis to identify opportunities and communicate recommendations to key stakeholders.

The role requires strong analytics and a technical background in SQL, Python, Alteryx, and JavaScript, plus the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment to drive data-driven insights.

Main Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Purchasing Systems Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and be able to work independently to identify and solve complex business problems.

The Purchasing Systems Business Analyst will be responsible for gathering and analyzing data, developing insights into problems and opportunities, and communicating recommendations to key stakeholders. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

The position will be based in Phoenix AZ, Boise ID, Manila.

• Gather and analyze data for potential business expansion
• Influence stakeholders to support business projects
• Identify specific business opportunities and ways to capitalize on them
• Write Python and Alteryx scripts to automate data processing tasks
• Work with tools like Oracle, Corrigo (CMMS), Snowflake and Google Big Query to extract and analyze data.
• Create Power BI visualization tools to aid corporate and division leadership in decision making.
• Develop and maintain JavaScript-based web applications
• Be able to pivot quickly and adapt to changing priorities
