GLOBALFOUNDRIES U.S. INC. is offering an internship in strategic sourcing and procurement. The intern will support indirect procurement initiatives across categories such as professional services, software, logistics, outsourcing, and corporate functions in collaboration with the Global Supply Chain team.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to learn procurement processes, contracts, and cost-reduction initiatives within a global semiconductor manufacturer.

Qualifications

• Education: at least a sophomore pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 3.0 GPA.
• English fluency written and verbal.
• Ability to work at least 40 hours per week during internship.

Responsabilités

• Perform procurement data analysis to identify cost-savings and efficiency improvements.
• Support supplier relationship management to ensure quality, delivery, and service.
• Assist with RFP/RFQ development and evaluation for indirect goods/services.
• Assist with contract reviews to ensure policy and legal compliance.
• Contribute to procurement projects including onboarding, negotiations, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Research market trends and supplier capabilities for sourcing opportunities.
