Job summary

Jabil’s Summer Internship Program offers hands-on exposure to procurement, supplier management, and materials planning within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The Purchasing Intern will work 20 hours per week from late November 2026 through May 2027, supporting buy-side activities, PO creation, and data analysis under mentorship.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's in listed fields; graduation dates Dec 2026 – May/Aug 2027.
• Strong Excel and data analysis skills required.
• Interest in procurement, supply chain, or operations.
• Ability to work part-time ~20 hours per week during the internship period.

Responsibilities

• Assist with purchasing activities to ensure materials meet production needs.
• Create and maintain purchase orders and supplier communications.
• Analyze inventory and material requirements to support procurement decisions.
• Monitor supplier performance and metrics.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on procurement projects.
• Support resolution of shortages and invoice discrepancies.
• Maintain data in purchasing and material master records.
• Follow safety and company policies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
