What You’ll Do

As a Procurement Specialist, you will provide temporary site readiness and procurement coordination support during high-demand periods, including vendor requests, PR/PO follow-up, SES support, documentation tracking, GEM uplift, and end-user procurement questions so Procurement Specialists can remain focused on core buying, sourcing, and project delivery. Other duties include:

• Live and foster the Dyno Nobel Values.


• Perform procurement support transactions in a timely and efficient manner in compliance with DNA Procurement Policies and Procedures.


• Coordinate vendor setup and change request intake, ensuring required documentation is complete, accurate, and routed through the appropriate process.


• Maintain procurement trackers, master-data updates, and audit-ready documentation to improve visibility, ownership, and follow-up discipline.


• Support PR/PO processing and follow-up by identifying blockers, coordinating stakeholder updates, and helping drive timely execution.


• Provide process guidance and end-user support across the P2P lifecycle to improve request quality, reduce rework, and support timely procurement and invoice processing.


• Process purchase orders within defined purchasing privileges, ensuring appropriate approvals, documentation, and policy compliance are in place.


• Escalate sourcing, negotiation, supplier selection, policy exceptions, and commercial decisions to the appropriate Procurement Specialist, Sourcing representative, or Procurement Manager.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field


• 1+ year of experiencein procurement or sourcing, specifically within a manufacturing environment


• Experience supporting supplier negotiations, commercial discussions, and quote comparisons in partnership with Procurement Specialists, Sourcing, or Procurement leadership.


• Proficiency in SAP P2P Process module is required. Experience with other SAP modules related to procurement is a plus.


• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) are highly desired.
