A global manufacturing firm is actively seeking a Procurement Specialist to join their team in Vista, California. The ideal candidate will have over 3 years of experience in production-facing procurement within a manufacturing setting, proficiency in MRP and ERP systems, and strong Excel skills. You will be responsible for managing purchasing of materials, ensuring smooth production, and building dashboards in Power BI. The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $85,000 to $95,000 and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in production-facing procurement or purchasing in manufacturing.
• Experience with MRP and ERP systems; Sage is preferred.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with Power BI dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Manage purchasing of production materials in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Maintain reorder points, safety stock, and min/max levels.
• Procure raw materials and maintain vendor communication.

Skills

Production-facing procurement experience

MRP and ERP Systems (Sage preferred)

Strong Excel skills

Building dashboards in Power BI

Knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA, GMP, HACCP)

Analytical and proactive problem solver
