Job summary

Strike, LLC is seeking a Procurement Specialist based in Spring, TX, with travel across South Texas to support procurement for the Gulf Coast Region.

You will prepare requisitions, create and process POs, manage supplier documents, and collaborate across procurement cycles. Requires 2-5 years in procurement; construction-energy project experience and strong MS Office skills preferred.

Bachelor’s degree preferred; procurement certification strongly preferred; sponsorship not available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher is strongly preferred.
• Procurement certification from accredited institution strongly preferred.
• 2-5 years of relevant procurement experience.
• Previous experience in construction-highly preferred, energy services and/or project management environment.

Responsibilities

• Support company’s procurement needs, from bid process to Purchase Order issuance and management of open commitments.
• Identify, prepare, create, and process requisitions and Purchase Orders for the procurement of goods and services.
• Coordinate and assist with Strike’s required documents for suppliers, including but not limited to purchase orders, change orders and any related documents.
• Support management of supplier qualification requirements, including contract, safety and insurance expectations, and established pricing.
• Ensure that documents related to suppliers are stored properly for accurate retention and retrieval in proper electronic storage and data formats.
• Identify and prepare cost savings and avoidance reports.
• Represent Strike in recurring meetings with suppliers, including account overview.

Job Summary
