  • Invoice & Payment Resolution: Work with AP and receiving to resolve 3-way matches and ensure timely payments.
  • Operational Reporting: Maintain daily/weekly spend, backorder, and delivery timeline reports.

About the Role

The Entry-Level Procurement Specialist (Non-Inventory / Operations) supports the procurement and material flow of non-inventory goods and services across Amazon Logistics (AMZL) delivery stations. This role focuses on requisition tracking, purchase order execution, inventory reconciliation, and supplier follow-up to keep delivery stations running smoothly without supply-related downtime.

Responsibilities
  • Purchase Order (PO) Execution: Create, issue, and track purchase orders for operational supplies, material handling equipment (MHE) parts, safety gear (PPE), and facility maintenance services using internal ERP tools.
  • Site Inventory & Replenishment: Monitor on-site stock levels of essential non-inventory materials, conduct cycle counts, and execute standard replenishment orders to avoid station disruptions.
  • Vendor Coordination & Delivery Tracking: Expedite open orders, verify shipment tracking, and resolve delivery delays or discrepancies directly with vendors and station dock teams.
  • Invoice & Payment Resolution: Partner with Accounts Payable (AP) and site receiving teams to resolve 3-way match exceptions (PO, receipt, invoice) and ensure vendors are paid on time.
  • Operational Reporting: Maintain daily and weekly tracking sheets in Excel to report spend, backorders, and delivery timelines to station leadership.
Qualifications
  • Basic Qualifications: Master's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, or a related field (or equivalent 2+ years of warehouse/logistics operations experience). 0–2 years of experience in purchasing, supply chain, inventory control, or administrative operations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel: (VLOOKUP, basic pivot tables, data sorting).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills: to coordinate across operational shifts.
