Job summary

Impinj is seeking a Procurement Specialist to strengthen our spend management and supplier relationships in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You will help shape long-term sourcing strategies, monitor market trends, and resolve invoicing issues, while expediting orders to meet product needs.

You will collaborate with accounting, vendors, and internal teams to optimize Procure-to-Pay processes and drive base rationalization with engineering partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain, finance, economics, operations or similar degree.
• 2+ years of experience in sourcing or procurement.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, and willingness to develop proficiency in D365, PowerBI and MRP systems.
• Outstanding attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in procurement activities.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience in effectively managing vendor relations and securing good terms.
• Teamwork skills to work seamlessly with diverse teams and influence key collaborators.

Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of our long-term sourcing strategy with Component and Maintenance, Repair and Operations (MRO) suppliers.
• Monitor developments and identify trends within the supply base to ensure Impinj is prepared to react appropriately.
• Investigate and resolve problems associated with invoices and purchase orders working with accounting, vendors, and receiving departments as needed.
• Issue timely purchase orders in response to product requirements and expedite deliveries when necessary.
• Maintain regular contact with internal and external partners and cross-functional teams to recognize market and demand developments and contribute effectively to key decisions and processes.
• Provide data, analytics, and supplier spend metrics for decision support in all stages of the company's Procure to Pay process.
• Drive supply base rationalization in partnership with engineering teams.

Compensation & Benefits:

The benefits listed below may vary depending on the nature of your employment with Impinj and the country where you work.

The typical base pay range for this role across the US is $68,425- $96,600. Individual base pay depends on various factors such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties, requirements, and relevant experience and skills. Both market wage data and the mid-point of the pay range is reviewed and used as the starting point for all new hire offers. Offers are made within the base pay range applicable at the time. At Impinj certain roles are eligible for additional rewards, including merit increases, annual bonus and stock. These awards are allocated based on individual performance. In addition, certain roles also have the opportunity to earn sales incentives based on revenue or utilization, depending on the terms of the plan and the employee’s role.
