We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Procurement Specialist to join our fast-paced tech services team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in managing our supply chain operations and will be responsible for sourcing equipment, goods, and services, as well as managing vendors. The ideal candidate will have a knack for negotiation, an analytical mindset, and a deep understanding of procurement software. This is an excellent opportunity for a procurement professional with 5+ years of experience to join a thriving company with a strong commitment to innovation and excellence.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement strategies aimed at streamlining processes and optimizing costs.
• Manage the company's supply portfolio and ensure its consistent and adequate supply of all goods and services.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure advantageous terms and manage relationships with key suppliers.
• Use procurement software to track goods and services, from initiation of the purchase through delivery.
• Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options.
• Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies.
• Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality.
• Create and maintain detailed records of all procurement documents, such as purchase orders and contracts.
• Collaborate with team members and stakeholders to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company.
• Forecast upcoming demand and conduct market research to identify potential new vendors and suppliers.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in procurement or a similar role.
• Proven experience in vendor management and procurement software.
• Strong negotiation skills and the ability to network and establish relationships with suppliers.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards would be a plus.
