Resort Lifestyle Communities in Lincoln, Nebraska is seeking a Procurement Specialist to lead statewide procurement activities, improve processes, and drive cost efficiencies.

You will manage supplier relationships, negotiate terms, and partner with cross-functional teams to deliver value.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years' procurement or supply chain experience.
• Associates degree or related work experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office including Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement activities across the organization, including purchasing, competitive sourcing (RFQs/RFPs), supplier selection, and new product or service implementations.
• Manage supplier relationships through onboarding, performance monitoring, contract support, and risk identification.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements while identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Partner with Accounts Payable and internal stakeholders to resolve purchasing issues and improve workflows.
• Develop and maintain procurement reporting, KPIs, and analytics to support informed decisions and continuous improvement.

What you'll do:

• Lead procurement activities across the organization, including purchasing, competitive sourcing (RFQs/RFPs), vendor selection, and new product or service implementations.
• Manage supplier relationships through vendor onboarding, ongoing performance monitoring, contract support, and vendor risk identification.
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements while identifying cost‑saving opportunities and operational efficiencies.
• Partner with Accounts Payable and internal stakeholders to resolve purchasing issues, improve procurement workflows, and support system enhancements.
• Develop and maintain procurement reporting, KPIs, and analytics to drive informed business decisions and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to support strategic initiatives, compliance standards, process optimization, and organizational growth.

What we're looking for:

• At least 2 years' experience with procurement, purchasing, or supply chain practices.
• Associates degree and/or procurement related work experience.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office software including Excel, Word Processing, and database applications.
• Service oriented, with the ability to communicate respectfully, compassionately, and effectively.
• Ability to learn quickly with little supervision.
• Preferred, but not required: Facilities and/or MRO (Maintenance Repair, and Operations) experience.
