Job summary

Q-Edge Corporation, a Foxconn entity in Houston, seeks an experienced procurement professional to lead local and international sourcing, vendor onboarding, and cost management in a fast-paced, in-office setting.

You will collaborate with internal teams and suppliers across Asia to coordinate BOM-based procurement, track lead times, and manage POs, ensuring timely payments and accurate reporting. Fluency in Mandarin is highly valued for cross-border activities.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of procurement management and vendor management experience.
• Sourcing experience is preferred.
• Fluent in Mandarin is highly preferred due to frequent interactions with suppliers and teams in Taiwan/China.

Responsibilities

• Local and international sourcing and vendor management, including BOM-based procurement.
• Source vendors and manage onboarding (MSA).
• Manage, track procured items, lead times, expediting, and ETA/ETD.
• Price negotiations and contract management; analyze procurement risks.
• Procurement operations: issue POs, verify documents, and address on-site issues.
• Submit documents to Accounting for payment requests.
• Prepare weekly summary reports and update project status; track PO reports.

SUMMARY:

• General Purchases
• Handle Issues that occurs within the UPD
• Local Sourcing
• Collaborate with Local and Global (Mainly China) Team Efficiently

Working Conditions

• In Office-based role in a fast-paced environment
• Must respond to after-hour emergencies and work non-core hours/overtime to complete projects
• May require long hours on certain days

II. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACTIVITIES:

1. Local and International Sourcing & Vendor Management:

• Source and procure according to factory demands / BOM
• Search for vendors and manage onboarding (MSA)
• Manage, track procured items, Lead Time, Expediting, ETA/ETD

2. Negotiation & Cost Management:

• Price negotiations, and contract management.
• Analyze procurement risks

3. Procurement Operations:

• Manage routine tasks: PO issuance and document verification.
• Address on-site abnormal issues promptly.
• Submit documents to Accounting for payment request

4. Reporting & Improvement:

• Prepare summary reports, update project status, ongoing tasks - weekly
• Track and manage PO Report

V. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

1.SPECIAL SKILLS (Computer training, quality training, special programs):

• Prior source to procure experience
• Proficiency in MS Office Apps (Excel/PowerPoint)
• Fluent in Mandarin is highly preferred due to frequent interactions with suppliers and internal teams in Taiwan/China.
• Business/Price Negotiation experience
