Comal Services seeks a Technical Procurement Specialist to lead the procurement lifecycle for custom components and specialized validation fixtures in a dynamic engineering environment. You will collaborate with wireline engineering teams, machine shops, and vendors to ensure strict technical requirements are met.

You will translate designs into SAP S/4HANA Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders, monitor CapEx budgets, and coordinate from quote to receiving and inspection in a hybrid work

Qualificações

• Hands-on experience reading mechanical blueprints and CAD/SolidWorks models.
• Experience translating designs into Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders in SAP.
• Ability to manage CapEx and budget allocations.
• Effective communication with external machine shops and R&D engineers.

This role focuses on leading the technical procurement lifecycle for custom components and specialized validation fixtures within a dynamic engineering environment. The Technical Procurement Specialist will collaborate closely with wireline engineering project teams, machine shops, and specialized manufacturing vendors to ensure all technical requirements are met. This position offers the opportunity to enhance your technical sourcing skills while directly engaging with precision machine shops and material suppliers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the technical procurement lifecycle for custom components, downhole tool assemblies, and specialized validation fixtures.
• Translate complex engineering designs and technical drawings into formal Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders within SAP S/4HANA.
• Monitor project CapEx and budget allocations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial tracking.
• Coordinate directly with vendors from quote execution through physical receiving and quality verification.
• Engage in effective communication with external machine shops and precision fabricators to address technical requirements.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent hands-on technical industry experience.
• Demonstrated hands‑on experience in SAP S/4HANA (or SAP ECC), specifically creating, tracking, and expediting Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders.
• Strong ability to read, interpret, and discuss mechanical engineering blueprints, CAD/SolidWorks models, and machine shop fabrication tolerances.
• Proven ability to communicate technical requirements effectively with external machine shops and R&D engineers.
• High curiosity and open‑mindedness toward adopting AI tools and modern digital productivity workflows.
