Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation seeks a procurement professional in California to manage end-to-end purchasing, supplier relations, and cost control. You will process orders, write specifications, evaluate vendors, and drive savings while collaborating with multiple departments to meet program needs.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least two years in a related field; CPSM is preferred. Regular commuting and a valid driver’s license are required.
Must have strong organizational, customer service, and negotiation skills. Ability to work cross-functionally and seek guidance when required in a customer-centric environment. On the job experience, negotiating supplier contracts and supplier performance management, preferred. Positive communications skill, high energy level, continuous improvement mindset, and a sense of urgency are all integral to the role Ability to leverage data and analytics to generate business cases in support of quantity buy decisions Excellent team interpersonal skills and ability to handle multiple sourcing assignments while providing superior service. Proficiency in Microsoft Office. Knowledge of casino/gaming industry, suppliers, cost drivers is preferred. Experience with Procure-to-Pay (P2P) systems and processes. Effective verbal and written communication abilities. Utilizes active listening to understand and confirm information. Proficiency in conveying information clearly and effectively. Capability to analyze data and make informed decisions. Skills in managing tasks, projects, and resources efficiently. Ability to think logically and make reasoned judgments. At the discretion of the San Manuel Tribal Gaming Commission, you may be required to obtain and maintain a gaming license. Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), preferred. Driving Responsibilities: Role requires regular commuting between locations. A valid driver's license and vehicle insurance with minimum liability limits is required. Role will not operate or drive Tribe-owned vehicles or patron vehicles.

Mobility sufficient to safely move in an office environment, walk, stoop, bend and kneel, and enter, exit and operate a motor vehicle in the course of travel to promotional events, meetings, conferences, trade shows and San Manuel properties. Endurance sufficient to sit, walk and stand for extended periods, and maintain efficiency throughout the entire work shift and during extended work hours.
