Job summary

Circet USA is seeking a Procurement Associate to manage day-to-day purchasing, inventory, pricing, and supplier relations in Minnesota. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and optimize stock levels.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in procurement, strong Excel/Access skills, excellent communication, and a proven ability to negotiate effectively while delivering accurate, timely work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain or related field preferred.
• 5 years experience as Procurement Associate or similar role.
• Strong customer service, urgency and deadline-driven.
• Ability to communicate and negotiate with suppliers and internal teams.
• Detail-oriented with data manipulation in Excel/Access.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requests and generate purchase orders.
• Develop and implement inventory controls to optimize stock levels and reduce costs.
• Manage inquiries on PO status and resolve discrepancies.

Job Summary and Responsibilities

Summary: This position is responsible for managing day-to-day purchasing activities, including procuring material, managing inventory, negotiating pricing, strategic sourcing, supplier management, and reporting.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

• Review purchase requests and generate purchase orders.
• Develop and impletement inventory controls to optimize stock levels, minimize carrying costs, and reduce overstock.
• Manage inquiries regarding the status of purchase orders and resolve discrepancies such as quantity, order multiples, and pricing.
• Maintain material catalog and identify cost saving opputunties through pricing and sourcing review.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align procurement priorities and develop demand forecasts based on historical data, upcoming projects and market trends.
• Identify suppliers, negotiate contracts and maintain supplier relationships, and analyze vendor performance.
• Identify inefficiencies in procurement process and propose and implement improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Performs other duties as requested by Procurement Manager

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, and/or QUALIFICATIONS

Bachlor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field is preferred. 5 years experience as a Procurement Associate or similar role required. Must have a strong sense of customer service & urgency & be able to consistently meet deadlines. Must have the ability to communicate & negotiate effectively with suppliers and internal teams. Must be detail-oriented and consistently produce accurate work. Must possess sound decision making, multi tasking, problem solving and computer skills. Data manipulation skills via Excel, Access and other system tools or applications.

Pay Range in the United States: $24-$36 based upon geography, skills, and experience. May also be eligible for performance incentive opportunity based on company and individual goals and performance.
