Job summary

Talentify is seeking a hands-on Procurement professional to manage purchasing, supplier relationships, and inventory control at our Arlington, TX site. You will drive demand planning via SAP and maintain ERP/MRP data to ensure uninterrupted production flow.

Responsibilities include placing orders, monitoring vendor performance, and optimizing stock levels, while ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• 2-3 yrs experience in purchasing ideally within copper, steel, electrical components.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution or equivalent experience.
• Demonstrated experience in ERP and MRP (transactional and planning module).
• Experience in SAP will be considered as an asset.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze vendor performance data to identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities.
• Act as primary point of contact for vendors, resolving escalations related to delivery, quality, and pricing discrepancies.
• Place purchasing orders and follow up with suppliers to meet production schedule.
• Maintain the integrity of work order and purchase order data in SAP.
• Manage inventory levels (stock, buyin, VMI, MRO) for reorder.
• Develop strategies to increase inventory turnover.
• Review daily and weekly production plans to ensure material availability.
• Monitor, identify, and resolve past due backlog issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and trade compliance procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives and activities as required.

Reporting directly to the Arlington Supply Chain Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the business has the right quantity of goods and materials at the right time and at the right cost to meet the production and operational needs. This role involves strategic planning, purchasing, inventory control and supplier relationship management to ensure uninterrupted flow of materials and goods required for production. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Arlington, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31.25 - $34.13/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
