Aretum is seeking a Procurement Specialist to support federal acquisition and contract management activities through requirements development, documentation, coordination, and tracking. Qualifications

• BS/BA degree and 3-5 years supporting federal acquisition, contract management, procurement, or related discipline.
• Experience developing and managing acquisition requirements, SOWs, work packages, and procurement documentation.
• Strong Excel skills with data tracking and reporting; Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to produce clear documentation and leadership-ready materials.
• Able to manage multiple acquisition actions with diverse stakeholders in a fast-paced federal environment.

Responsibilities

• Support CISA IT acquisition activities by developing pre-award requirements and SOWs.
• Coordinate requirements through internal reviews, procurement requests, and leadership approvals.
• Maintain contract data, tracking logs, SOPs, and identify process improvements.
• Provide post-award support to CORs with procurement packages and modification documentation.
• Prepare reports, guidance materials, and status updates for stakeholders and leadership.
• Support contractor personnel suitability tracking and other operational reporting requirements.

Job Summary

Aretum is seeking a Procurement Specialist will support federal acquisition and contract management activities through requirements development, documentation, coordination, and tracking. The role works with internal stakeholders to support procurement processes, monitor actions, maintain accurate data, and provide clear reporting throughout the acquisition lifecycle.

Due to the nature of our work as a federal consulting organization, employees may be expected to handle Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and must adhere to applicable safeguarding and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Support CISA IT acquisition activities by developing and maintaining pre-award requirements, work packages, Statements of Work, acquisition strategies, and supporting documentation.
• Coordinate requirements through internal review and approval processes, including procurement requests, financial workflows, and leadership reviews.
• Maintain acquisition planning tools, contract data, tracking logs, and standard operating procedures (SOPs), incorporating stakeholder feedback and identifying opportunities for process improvement.
• Provide post-award support to Contracting Officer Representatives (CORs), including maintaining procurement request packages, modification documentation, cost and schedule information, and contract tracking systems.
• Prepare clear, professional reports, guidance materials, and status updates for stakeholders and leadership.
• Support contractor personnel suitability tracking and other operational reporting requirements.

• BS/BA degree and 3 - 5 years of supporting federal acquisition, contract management, procurement, program management, or a related discipline, preferably within an Information Technology environment.
• Experience developing and managing acquisition requirements, Statements of Work, work packages, procurement documentation, and related pre- and post-award materials.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, data tracking, and reporting; experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to develop clear documentation, guidance, status reports, and executive-level materials.
• Ability to manage multiple acquisition actions simultaneously, maintain accurate tracking data, coordinate with diverse stakeholders, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced federal environment.

Travel Requirements

This is a hybrid position, with work performed both remotely and at designated client or corporate locations, as needed.Travel requirements may vary depending on project assignments, client meetings, or internal collaboration and will be communicated in advance whenever possible

U.S. Work Authorization

This position supports a federal government contract and requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability Determination, depending on the agency’s background investigation requirements.

• Salary Range: $105,000–$125,000 annually. Final compensation will be determined based on factors including education, experience, qualifications, skills, and applicable contract requirements.
