Position Overview

We are seeking a Procurement Specialist to support sourcing initiatives and supplier strategy within a global procurement organization. This role is ideal for an early-career professional with a bachelor’s degree who is eager to grow into a senior procurement role over time.

The position focuses on supplier sourcing, project coordination, market research, and cross-functional collaboration — rather than transactional purchasing. The ideal candidate is highly curious, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment supporting multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

Strategic Procurement & Sourcing Support

  • Assist with RFP development, supplier sourcing, and market research activities
  • Gather and analyze market data to support procurement decisions and negotiations
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and sourcing opportunities
  • Support both direct and indirect procurement initiatives

Project Coordination & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Coordinate sourcing projects and track timelines across teams
  • Partner with Finance to review P&L impact, cost structures, and pricing analysis
  • Support negotiation preparation and supplier strategy discussions
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to drive procurement initiatives forward
  • Collaborate with suppliers on inventory management and expediting orders
  • Assist with resolving operational and supply chain challenges
  • Support procurement process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives

Data Analysis & Presentation

  • Utilize advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables) to analyze data
  • Develop presentations to communicate findings, market insights, and recommendations
  • Present analysis to internal teams and leadership stakeholders
Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Engineering, or related)
  • 0–3 years of experience preferred (internships strongly considered)
  • Strong presentation and communication skills
  • Highly detail-oriented, curious, and motivated
  • Ability to multitask and support multiple projects simultaneously

Preferred Qualifications

  • Internship or early experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Finance, or Project Coordination
  • Exposure to sourcing, supplier management, or RFP processes
