Howmet Aerospace Inc. is seeking a Procurement Sourcing Specialist to support multiple plants in the Structural Castings and IGT segment, including U.S. locations Whitehall, MI and La Porte, IN.

You will drive procurement strategies for supply security, cost savings, process optimization, and supplier risk mitigation. The role emphasizes contract development and management, project leadership, and cross-functional collaboration across sites within North America and beyond.

Qualifications

• 3 years of procurement or contract development/management experience with a bachelor’s degree, OR 5 years without a degree.
• Minimum 1 year experience in ORACLE or a similar Enterprise Business System.
• Willingness to travel up to 25%.
• Authorized to work in the United States; visa sponsorship not available.
• Access to export-controlled items; employment offers conditioned on ability to obtain access.

Responsabilités

• Review plant requirements and statements of work to identify potential suppliers and contractors.
• Create, review, and negotiate service agreements and purchase orders reflecting scope, requirements, deliverables, pricing, schedule and terms.
• Collaborate with Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders to ensure compliance with contract procedures prior to issuance.
• Monitor contract performance and provide risk mitigation actions as necessary.
• Lead and support procurement projects including sourcing of goods/services, CAPEX, and supplier onboarding.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to define timelines and manage deliverables to avoid delays.
• Identify inefficiencies in procurement processes and implement cost-reducing, compliant solutions.
• Provide direct support to Segment plants to resolve procurement challenges and ensure execution.
• Backup executional tasks such as RFQ issuance, PO placement, and invoice reconciliation.
