Role will add value to the organization through assisting in identifying capable vendors, leading the competitive bidding process, negotiating contract pricing and terms, and optimizing vendor relationships. This position will be responsible for supporting the IT category as well as multiple other assigned spend categories. Team member will be involved in facilitating the selection of suppliers that support our organization’s operational and strategic efforts. This role must perform work under minimal supervision, handling complex issues and problems and referring only the most complex issues to higher-level staff, and possess comprehensive knowledge of subject matter. Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am -4:00pm. This position will be a hybrid model both in person and remote with minimum of onsite expectation of 40% or as needed.In this position, you will* Develop and execute Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and/or Requests for Information (RFIs) based on identified business needs, market conditions, and organizational standards. Partner with lines of business to help secure suitable vendors that meet quality, capability, and time requirements at best price.* Partner with stakeholders to align the sourcing process to the strategic plan for the line of business by clarifying objectives, approach, and timelines.
