LMI is seeking a Procurement Regulations Specialist in Alexandria, VA who holds an active Secret clearance. The role focuses on researching federal acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) and supporting procurement policy with disciplined analysis.

Responsibilities include preparing staffed packages, attending meetings, taking notes, and managing multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment. Strong written and oral communication, and federal contracting experience are essential.

Qualifications

Active security clearance at the Secret level; US citizen.
Bachelor's degree or higher.
10+ years of federal acquisition or DoD contracting experience.
Strong research skills on FAR/DFARS.
Experience as contracting officer or contracts specialist preferred.
Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication.
Proficient in Microsoft Office; SharePoint preferred.

Responsabilités

Perform statutory and regulatory research and complex administrative support functions.
Research history of current rulemaking cases and origin of procurement regulations.
Assess impact of information collection requirements under the Paperwork Reduction Act and track data in government systems.
Prepare and proofread formal staffed packages.
Attend meetings, take notes, track tasks and actions, and update staff.
Prepare briefings as appropriate.
Manage multiple assignments from multiple people in a busy environment.
