Responsibilities

• Leverage AI and automation tools to develop solutions that improve Procurement team efficiency and streamline workflows.
• Build and maintain cost models for high-impact procurement categories to support strategic sourcing decisions.
• Develop and organize supplier and product catalogs for key spend categories.
• Analyze procurement data and create reports, dashboards, and insights to support business decisions.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency, standardization, and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with Procurement team members to document and improve processes where formal procedures do not currently exist.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational effectiveness and cost optimization.
• Present project findings, recommendations, and business impacts to Procurement leadership and stakeholders.

Internship Objective

The intern will work to support the Procurement team by leveraging AI tools, improving reporting, and developing modeling tools.

What You’ll Do:

• Leverage AI and automation tools to develop solutions that improve Procurement team efficiency and streamline workflows.
• Build and maintain cost models for high-impact procurement categories to support strategic sourcing decisions.
• Develop and organize supplier and product catalogs for key spend categories.
• Analyze procurement data and create reports, dashboards, and insights to support business decisions.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency, standardization, and reporting capabilities.
• Collaborate with Procurement team members to document and improve processes where formal procedures do not currently exist.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives that drive operational effectiveness and cost optimization.
• Present project findings, recommendations, and business impacts to Procurement leadership and stakeholders.

What You’ll Bring:

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in a relevant discipline at an accredited university, with an anticipated graduation date between December 2027 and May 2029 (rising junior or rising senior).
• Strong academic performance with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
• Available to work full-time for 12 weeks during summer 2027.
• Reliable transportation to and from the work location.
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI tools, automation, or agent development is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including functions such as XLOOKUP, data analysis, and reporting.
• Strong quantitative skills with the ability to perform calculations, weighted averages, and financial analyses.
• Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and critical‑thinking abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present findings and recommendations effectively.
• Ability to translate data into actionable insights and process improvement opportunities.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy.

What You’ll Receive:

As of the date of this posting, a good faith estimate of the current pay scale for this position is $20 to $25 per hour. Placement in the range depends on several factors such as experience, skills, geography and may change over time.
