Job summary

System One is seeking a Procurement Operations Specialist in Pittsburgh, PA. The role focuses on supporting administrative AP and procurement system tasks within the P2P services team. The position is a contract with hybrid work arrangements, combining onsite and remote work.

The candidate will triage requests, create and edit POs, manage Ariba documents, and provide data entry support. Prior procurement experience is helpful but not required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 1 year administrative experience in a corporate environment.
• Procurement experience is not required, but desirable.
• Strong computer skills; experience using Google Business or comparable suite.
• Experience with Oracle, Ariba, or a comparable ERP system is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Triage internal customer and vendor requests via the Procurement Operations shared inbox.
• Create and edit Purchase Orders for buyers within the organization.
• Reassign transactional documents within the Ariba system as prompted via standard processes.
• Data entry support for invoice entry and contract repository.
• Identify training opportunities and coordinate training sessions with Procurement team members and the applicable business partner(s) or vendor(s).
• Support centralized buying initiatives by reviewing intake forms and coordinating follow-up discussions with key stakeholders.
• Support reporting analytics and alerts to ensure Procure to Pay compliance across the organization.
• Administrative projects as assigned.
