Job summary

MGM Resorts International is seeking a Purchasing Operations Manager in Las Vegas, NV to lead end-to-end purchasing and item data management across all spend categories. You will oversee Buyers and Item Setup Specialists, ensuring data integrity, compliance, and timely procurement execution to support strategic business objectives.

Ideal candidates bring a Bachelor's degree and 2+ years in procurement/sourcing, with 5+ years preferred, plus experience with Stratton Warren, Coupa, Oracle, and in

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2+ years of procurement/sourcing or supply chain management experience.
• 5+ years of procurement/sourcing or supply chain experience preferred.
• Experience conducting bid processes (RFI, RFP, informal bids) and negotiating short-term supplier agreements.
• Experience with e-procurement tools (Stratton Warren, Coupa, Oracle) and other procurement systems.
• Experience in a resort/hospitality setting is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction to Buyers and Item Setup Specialists, including workload distribution and training.
• Collaborate with Category Management and Strategic Sourcing to execute programs.
• Oversee end-to-end lifecycle of purchases and item data, including requisitions, POs, and data integrity.
• Review invoice variances and maintain accurate item master data.
• Lead KPI execution for PR-to-PO, PO on-time delivery, and item setup quality metrics.
• Manage supplier relationships and negotiate for tail-spend programs and purchases.
• Support HR responsibilities for teams, including hiring, training, and performance management.
