Job summary

SUN PHARMA is looking for a Manager, Procurement in Cranbury Township, NJ, responsible for developing and executing purchasing strategies for Indirect Materials. This role involves leading a team of Buyers to ensure supplier performance and achieve business objectives.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in a Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment and must demonstrate excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Compensation includes a base pay of $95,000 to $105,500 along with various benefits including medical, dental, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years related experience in a Pharmaceutical manufacturing environment preferred.
• Minimum 4+ years of managerial experience.
• Strong attention to detail and effective follow‑up skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and communicate a procurement business plan.
• Ensure all material requirements are delivered on time.
• Manage current procurement policies and programs.
• Communicate with Planning, Inventory Control, and Quality Control.
• Monitor and analyze bids and quotes to make effective decisions.

Skills

Strong judgment in planning

Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, SAP

Education

Bachelor’s degree in a related field
