Catalent, Inc. is seeking a Procurement Manager, Direct Materials to lead strategic sourcing for GMP materials supporting clinical programs.
You will define category strategies, buy channels, and supplier relationships, partnering with Site Procurement and GPO to ensure speed, quality, and risk mitigation across the portfolio. The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 7+ years in biopharma procurement, and strong negotiation and cross-functional collaboration skills.
The Procurement Manager, Direct Materials is responsible for procurement leadership, sourcing and procuring GMP materials for Catalent Gene Therapy Direct Materials, including defining category strategy, buying channels, and supplier relationship management program, to support our clinical programs effectively. This person will need to engage technically, operationally, and commercially to understand and enable speed, high quality performance, supply assurance, and risk mitigation for the pipeline and clinical supply. Work closely with the Site Procurement Manager, the Global Procurement Organization (GPO), Site Operations, Business Unit Leadership, and critical stakeholders at the site and across the company. Leads site-level initiatives for supplier management, supplier quality & supplier performance improvement as well as supports global procurement initiatives.

The anticipated salary range for this position in Maryland is $130K-$140K plus an annual bonus target.
