POSITION SUMMARY

The Procurement Manager supports the Corporate Director of Procurement in executing sourcing and supplier strategies across the Company's diverse portfolio of hotels, restaurants, clubs, multifamily communities, commercial properties, corporate operations, and mixed-use developments. This role supports the leadership of procurement initiatives across a broad range of operational and capital categories including food & beverage (F&B), furnishings, fixtures and equipment (FF&E), operating supplies and equipment (OS&E), construction-related materials, building systems, and other hospitality products and services. The Procurement Manager will partner with operational and business leaders to drive cost savings, strengthen supplier partnerships, improve quality and service, mitigate risk, and support the successful execution of new developments, renovations, and ongoing operations.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Strategic Sourcing & Category Management
  • Execute category and sourcing strategies across a broad portfolio, including recurring operating needs and larger project specific transactions, leveraging enterprise-wide purchasing power across the portfolio of assets.
  • Lead competitive sourcing initiatives, including RFPs, RFQs, supplier evaluations, negotiations, contract implementation, and renewals.
  • Analyze spend data, purchasing trends, commodity markets, and industry conditions to identify savings opportunities, improve purchasing performance, and mitigate cost volatility.
  • Manage the creation, issuance, processing, and ongoing administration of purchase orders, ensuring accuracy, timely approvals, and compliance with company policies.
  • Build and maintain strategic relationships with manufacturers, distributors, service providers, and key supplier partners.
  • Negotiate pricing, rebates, service programs, contracts, and supplier agreements to maximize value while minimizing risk.
  • Monitor supplier performance through quality, service, delivery, and compliance metrics, implementing corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives as needed.
  • Serve as a strategic procurement partner to F&B, Operations, Design, Development, Construction, and Property Leadership teams.
  • Collaborate with chefs, operators, designers, project managers, and property teams to evaluate products, identify value engineering opportunities, and achieve cost savings without compromising guest experience, functionality, or design intent.
  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging products, supplier innovations, construction materials, hospitality furnishings, equipment, and supply chain developments to support operational excellence and future growth.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Develop and present procurement dashboards and reports highlighting cost savings, spend analytics, supplier performance, market intelligence, and strategic recommendations.
  • Support annual budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning through market analysis and strategic sourcing insights.
  • Monitor commodity pricing and supply market conditions to proactively mitigate cost impacts, supply risks, and business disruptions.
  • Partner with Finance, Development, Asset Management, Design, Construction, Operations, and other business leaders to align procurement initiatives with organizational priorities and business objectives.
  • Support procurement activities for new developments, renovations, capital improvement projects, hotel openings, restaurant openings, and major operational initiatives to ensure timely execution, cost control, and brand consistency.
  • Promote procurement best practices, product standardization, supplier consolidation, and continuous improvement initiatives across the organization.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contractual requirements, and supplier management standards.

Requirements
SKILLS & ABILITIES
  • Demonstrated experience managing strategic sourcing and procurement activities from category strategy through contract negotiation and supplier management.
  • Strong knowledge of procurement, including F&B, FF&E, OS&E, construction-related products, building materials, and hospitality supply chains.
  • Proven ability to lead competitive sourcing events (RFPs/RFQs), evaluate supplier proposals, and negotiate favorable contract terms.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, procurement analytics platforms, and Al-enabled tools that support data analysis, reporting, and sourcing decisions.
  • Ability to build and present clear, data-driven dashboards and reports for leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple sourcing initiatives simultaneously, supporting renovations, new developments, property openings, operational purchasing, and capital improvement projects.
  • Familiarity with ERP, procure-to-pay, and contract management systems.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented, multi-unit hospitality environment.
  • High degree of integrity, sound judgment, and discretion when handling confidential supplier and pricing information.

Education: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business, Hospitality Management, Finance, or a related field required;

Experience: 5+ years of procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain experience within the hospitality industry, including significant experience supporting F&B procurement and/or additional categories such as FF&E, OS&E, construction-related materials, or capital projects for hotels, restaurants, resorts, clubs, or similar hospitality environments.

Computer Skills: Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, procurement analytics tools, and Al-enabled technologies that support data analysis, reporting, and procurement decision-making.

Certifications & Licenses: Professional certifications such as CPSM (Certified Professional in Supply Management), CSCP (Certified)

  • Supply Chain Professional), or other relevant procurement and supply chain credentials preferred.
  • Valid driver's license is required.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience supporting multi-unit hospitality operations, hotel developments, renovations, or capital improvement projects; knowledge of F&B distribution, hospitality furnishings, FF&E, OS&E, construction procurement, purchasing cooperatives, and hospitality supply chains; experience with ERP, procure-to-pay, and contract management systems.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
  • Primarily office-based position with periodic travel to hotels, restaurants, clubs, and other operating properties to support sourcing initiatives, supplier visits, and property openings.
  • Fast-paced, growth-oriented environment requires flexibility, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities.
