Hitachi Energy USA INC seeks a Supply Chain Strategy Manager to lead sourcing initiatives, optimize performance, and collaborate across operations, engineering, finance, and supplier networks. You’ll influence key decisions, drive improvements, and lead a team focused on operational excellence in a global manufacturing setting.

You will use data-driven insights to improve supply reliability, reduce risk, and deliver measurable business results, while guiding talent growth and succession planning

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.
  • 7+ years of supply chain, purchasing, planning, or procurement experience within an industrial manufacturing environment.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to translate data into actionable plans.
  • Experience working in a collaborative, matrixed, and fast‑paced environment.
  • Preferred: CPSM or PMP certification, SAP experience, Power BI knowledge, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

  • Lead strategic sourcing activities to ensure material availability, cost competitiveness, and supply reliability.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies aligned with business and factory objectives.
  • Partner with suppliers to improve performance, strengthen relationships, and resolve critical issues.

  • Analyze demand, supply, and spend data to identify opportunities and mitigate risks.
  • Lead supply chain activities supporting sales orders, new product introductions, and technology transfer projects.
  • Champion cost reduction, cost avoidance, and risk mitigation projects across the organization.
  • Inspire, coach, and develop a high‑performing supply chain team while supporting talent growth and succession planning.
