The State of Nebraska, Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), Division of Operations is looking for a Procurement Manager to oversee and coordinate a major unit within the agency. In this leadership role within the Office of Procurement and Grants (OPG), you will provide administrative direction for complex, diverse, and multifunctional programs that are critical to DHHS operations and have a direct impact across Nebraska.
The Procurement Manager Job Duties Include:
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, procurement, supply/inventory operations or related field AND six years procurement experience with at least two years of experience in leading and/or supervising professional level procurement teams. Experience can be substituted for education on a year for year basis.
Master’s degree in Public Administration, Business Administration or relevant field of study and progressive supervisory, management, and leadership experience. 10+ years of experience in local, state, federal, major university system or private sector procurement field.
Certifications including CPPB preferred.
Position is located on-site at the Nebraska State Office Building in Lincoln.
