We are seeking a hands-on and results-driven Procurement Manager to lead our procurement operations and help drive cost efficiency, supplier performance, and strategic purchasing initiatives.

The Impact You Will Have:

In this role, you will lead the Procurement Department, which sources appliances, systems, and parts for home warranty claims across our national supplier network. You will oversee the team’s daily operations, data analytics, and vendor management initiatives to ensure that procurement processes are efficient, cost-effective, and aligned with company goals. You will play a key role in maintaining and improving our proprietary systems, managing vendor relationships, and driving departmental performance through training, data-driven strategy, and innovation.

Your duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide strategic direction to the Procurement Department, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Strengthen supplier partnerships, negotiating competitive pricing and favorable contract terms.
  • Oversee the comprehensive research, acquisition, onboarding, and maintenance of our supplier network.
  • Conduct regular vendor performance reviews focusing on reliability, delivery, returns, and pricing integrity.
  • Design and execute procurement strategies that align with company objectives, budgetary constraints, and service quality standards.
  • Present data-driven insights to leadership and propose actionable strategies for process or cost optimization.
  • Conduct regular leadership meetings to address departmental progress, challenges, and improvement initiatives.
  • Oversee daily productivity and ensure timely completion of procurement assignments.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings and diversification within the supplier network.
  • Maintain and improve procurement workflows within the company’s proprietary systems to enhance claim efficiency, vendor communication, and order accuracy.
  • Anticipate departmental needs, including resources, staffing, and technological enhancements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment across company initiatives.
  • Lead the creation of Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) and testing for system enhancements, processes, and procedures.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations, including task delegation and monitoring team workflows, queues, and procedures.
  • Address escalated issues and provide strategic solutions to complex problems.
  • Analyze and present performance metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Develop departmental KPIs and ensure alignment with company objectives.
  • Create and use reports to identify weaknesses and opportunities for departmental growth for the success of the company.
  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a culture of accountability and collaboration.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and implement succession planning strategies.
  • Work directly with Learning & Development on training programs for new and existing team members, ensuring mastery of processes and continued learning.
  • Work cross-functionally with our HVAC Division to perfect our sourcing ability and drive claim costs down.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technicians, addressing inquiries and concerns to ensure customer satisfaction and claim progression efficiency.
  • Resolve disputes and implement strategies for enhancing customer satisfaction.
  • Engagement in future development projects, associated with changes to the operations team and departmental necessity.
  • Predictable, reliable, and punctual attendance is an essential function of this job.

Requirements:
